Hopi Ear Candling/ Thermo Auricular

The therapy is non invasive and safe. I use Biosun honey, sage, camomile beeswax candles which have healing and soothing properties. These are long hollow tubes of cotton which have been soaked in beeswax. The candle is inserted into the ear whilst the client lies down on their side. It is lit at one end creating a 'chimney effect' whereby warm air rises causing a vacuum that loosens the ear wax.
The client experiences a warm feeling with crackling sounds whilst the candle's ingredients vaporise and burns down. This enhances relaxation during the treatment. When both ears have been candled, the treatment ends with a gentle neck and facial sinus drainage massage. It is a magical experience that will allow you to drift away to some far off ancient place.
