Moths are certainly drawn to light, my crystal clear quartz. Light holds information, darkness withholds information. Without one, we wouldn't have the other. We have to work with our shadow self. We have to work hard to reveal the light information encoded all around us.
As the lighter months slowly withdraw and darkness takes a stronger hold, I remind myself that we're all moths fluttering around in the darkiness, searching for the light at the end of the tunnel. Some of us are The Hermit, holding the torch and gently guiding others towards it. The Hermetic Path reveals hidden truths. Truths that have been kept from mankind for 1000's of years!
The little moth appeared in front of me, sitting on my crystal as I washed up on Tuesday, thinking of my son at his first day of college, another milestone in his life. And here the moth symolised death of the past, change and new beginnings.
Exciting times are ahead but we have to work hard to unlock each key to each truth that has been hidden from us.
